Wisdom for the Journey: Growing Forward, One Roundtable at a Time

Since 2020, 12-2-1 Roundtables has grown in ways we could not have fully imagined when this journey began.
What started as a simple vision for meaningful recovery conversations has become a growing community of participants, facilitators, referral partners, churches, agencies, and supporters who believe recovery happens best through connection, honesty, accountability, and hope.
The heart has stayed the same: 12 seats, 2 facilitators, and 1 focus area. A safe place. A guided conversation. A reminder that no one has to walk the recovery journey alone.
Over the past several years, we have watched Roundtables become more than meetings on a screen. We have seen people open up, tell the truth, listen to others, ask better questions, take ownership, reconnect with hope, and begin taking their next right step. Those moments may seem small from the outside, but around the Roundtable, they can become turning points.
As 12-2-1 has grown, so has the need to better tell the story of who we are and where this work comes from. That is why we are bringing 12-2-1.com together under StraightGate.org. Straight Gate, Inc. is the nonprofit foundation behind 12-2-1 Roundtables. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Straight Gate exists to support recovery-focused work that helps people move from isolation into connection, from struggle into support, and from hopelessness into lasting change.
This new website, and logo (see above), allows us to tell the fuller story: the mission of Straight Gate, the heart of 12-2-1 Roundtables, the services we provide, the partners we serve, and the hope we believe God continues to raise through this work.
It is not just a website and logo change. It is a step forward.
It gives us one home for the work, one clearer message for those looking for help, and one stronger platform for reaching participants, families, courts, agencies, churches, communities, and donors.
We are grateful for every person who has pulled up a seat since 2020. We are grateful for every referral partner who has trusted us, every participant who has shown up, every facilitator who has served, and every supporter who has helped make this work possible.
The journey continues.
We are still learning.
Still growing.
Still listening.
Still believing that recovery is real.
Still believing that hope can rise.
Still advancing the reality of recovery — one Roundtable at a time.
