Recovery is more than stopping the use of alcohol or drugs. It involves building a strong foundation, addressing the deeper patterns that can continue to interfere with progress, and creating a meaningful life worth protecting.
Straight Gate’s three-part recovery pathway provides structured support for each stage of that process. Participants may begin with the part that best fits their current needs or move through all three parts as a progressive sequence.
Recovery Part I: Building the Foundation
Recovery Part I is our 90-day Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals who need structured substance-use treatment but do not require residential care.
This program focuses on:
-
Substance-use recovery
-
Personal accountability
-
Relapse prevention
-
Emotional stability
-
Healthy coping skills
-
Support and connection
-
Long-term recovery planning
Through guided Roundtables, counseling, assignments, accountability, and practical reflection, participants begin identifying the beliefs, behaviors, and choices that have kept them stuck while building the skills and support needed for lasting change.
Recovery Part II: Going Deeper
Recovery Part II is a 4-week, 20-session Special Focus Roundtable Series addressing the habits, compulsions, relationships, and everyday dependencies that may continue to interfere with recovery.
Topics may include:
-
Internet and technology use
-
Gambling
-
Relationships and sexual behavior
-
Nicotine, vaping, cigarettes, caffeine, sugar, and other everyday dependencies
This series helps participants look beyond the primary addiction and identify other behaviors that may still be controlling their time, emotions, relationships, health, or decision-making.
Recovery Part III: Moving Forward
Recovery Part III is a 4-week, 20-session Special Focus Roundtable Series focused on building a meaningful, stable, and purpose-filled life in recovery.
Topics may include:
-
Purpose and direction
-
Healthy relationships
-
Faith and spiritual growth
-
Daily routines and self-discipline
-
Work, responsibility, and stability
-
Service and connection
-
Emotional maturity
-
Long-term goals
-
Building a life worth protecting
This series helps participants move beyond simply avoiding relapse and begin developing the relationships, routines, values, and sense of purpose that support long-term recovery.
One Pathway, Flexible Entry Points
Participants do not have to complete all three parts or begin with Part I. Each program may be taken on its own based on the participant’s current needs, or the three parts may be completed in sequence for continued structure, accountability, and growth.
Together, the programs offer a clear recovery pathway:
Part I builds the foundation.
Part II addresses what may still be weighing a person down.
Part III helps build the life recovery makes possible.
