Jim Wilson is the founder of Straight Gate, Inc. and co-founder of 12-2-1 Roundtables. He brings more than 38 years of experience helping people facing addiction and other life-controlling issues move toward recovery, connection, and lasting change.

Over the course of his career, Jim has served as a Clinical Director, Therapist, and Counselor. He has a special heart for Treatment Courts and has worked extensively with individuals involved in Community Corrections, Day Report Centers, Adult Drug Court Programs, and Juvenile Corrections.

Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marshall University and has held Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification, including clinical supervision endorsements, for more than 30 years. He is also a qualified Substance Abuse Professional for the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Jim has been in long-term recovery since 1988. His work through 12-2-1 Roundtables reflects decades of lived recovery, professional experience, faith, and a deep belief in the power of honest conversation, accountability, grace, and hope.

Together, Jim and his wife Faith, are grateful followers of Jesus Christ and are committed to helping people move from isolation into connection, recovery, restoration, and hope — one Roundtable at a time.
